The beautiful village of Dundonald stands on the site of the largest man-made hill in Ireland. Once a motte and bailey, the village has now become a hub of excitement and entertainment for all the family. Streamvale Open Farm

Streamvale Open Farm is a great day out for families to experience a real farmyard. Families can get up close and personal with the animals from dairy cows to chicks and bunnies during the daily feeding times. Also on site is the new Play Village, a state of the art installation which will encourage children to learn about food and farming through play. Your kids can explore the village which includes a Vets Clinic, Farm Shop, Milking Parlour and Mechanics. Other activities include play area, history trail, quad rides, nature trail, pony rides and tractor rides.

 

Moat Park

Situated in the heart of Dundonald, the Moat Park offers idyllic walks around the historic Motte. Also, it provides a valuable link to shops in the village.  Close by stands the Church of St Elizabeth. This striking church dates from 1306, providing an interesting piece of history during your walk.
