Hillsborough Parish Church

About

Come and enjoy the history and hertiage of Hillsborough Parish Church during EHOD. Begun in 1760 under the patronage of the Earl of Hillsborough, the Church is considered to be the most sophisticated, uniformed example of Georgian Style in Ireland. Right of the entrance stands a sculptural memorial to the famous composer and organist Sir Hamilton Harty (1879-1941), who was born in Hillsborough.
