Led by Hillsborough Castle’s beekeeper Gwen Earnshaw, find out about the wonderful world of honeybees, their role as pollinators and how they make honey and wax comb. See beekeeping equipment on display and taste honey made by Hillsborough Castle’s very own honeybees. Discover the honey extraction process and mould shapes with the wax to take home.

Workshops are free on a first come first serve basis (includes admission to Hillsborough Castle’s gardens)

30 persons per session

Ages: 6-10, 10-14, 14-18, 18+
