The festive season will start with the annual Switching On of the Lights on Thursday 22nd November in Market Square, Lisburn from 6.30pm. This year the parade is themed ‘The Lion, the Switch-On and the Wardrobe’. Pre-Parade entertainment from 6.30pm by Lisburn Community Children’s Choir and festive characters. Lantern parade through the City Centre from approx. 7.00pm.
The Mayor, Councillor Uel Mackin will switch on the City’s
Christmas Lights with Santa at 7.15pm. Come along and enjoy the spectacle of the parade and share in the magic of this special start to the season.
