Experience the energy and excitement of the Lisburn & Castlereagh Fleadh Fringe Festival as Lisburn City Centre comes alive with music, dance, food and family fun this August.

Taking place across Market Square, Bow Street and Castle Gardens, this vibrant programme offers a packed schedule of FREE entertainment for all ages.

Enjoy an exciting mix of live music, cultural dance performances, street entertainment and walkabout acts, alongside a bustling artisan craft market in Market Square.

Food lovers can visit the Lisburn Castlereagh Demo Kitchen, hosted by local broadcaster, producer and video journalist Denise Watson, featuring live demonstrations from The Daily Apron and BBC Best Home Cook winner Suzie Lee.

Families can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the weekend, including face painting, craft workshops, bubble entertainment and interactive performances.

The festival celebrates culture and creativity with an exciting programme of performances featuring Irish, Spanish, Bollywood and Highland dancing, alongside live music from Trinity Trio, TROUT, EFFIE, Tia Bow, Boom Strutt Brass and East Belfast Traditional Musicians.

Whether you're looking to enjoy live music, sample local food, support artisan traders, spend time with family or simply soak up the festival atmosphere, the Fleadh Fringe Festival promises a memorable weekend of entertainment in the heart of Lisburn City Centre.

4:00pm - 5:00pm        Wookalily - Members Sharon and Adele of renowned Belfast alt-folk band Wookalily bring a stripped-back bluegrass set featuring banjo, guitar and rich harmonies.
5:00pm - 6:00pm        Aqua Tofana - Fronted by Eva Kearney, Aqua Tofana blends soul, contemporary sound and powerful vocals from one of Northern Ireland's most exciting emerging artists.
6:00pm - 7:00pm        Jack Devlin - A Northern Irish singer-songwriter known for emotive lyrics, evocative storytelling and heartfelt performances.
7:00pm - 8:00pm        McAuley McKeown McCullagh Trad Band - Three accomplished musicians bringing traditional Irish music to life through fiddle, guitar and bodhrán.

Saturday 8th August | Market Square

12:00pm - 2:00pm    Trinity Trio - Members of acclaimed folk group The Dandy Horses, performing a captivating mix of traditional and contemporary folk music.
2:00pm - 4:00pm       Boom Strutt Brass - An energetic Belfast-based brass band inspired by the vibrant sounds of New Orleans' Second Line tradition.
2:00pm - 3:00pm       Tia Bow - A distinctive contemporary folk artist blending acoustic instruments, atmospheric electronics and powerful storytelling.
3:00pm - 4:00pm        EFFIE - A Belfast-based singer-songwriter known for work across pop and electronic genres and a chart-topping songwriter on RTÉ's The Hit.
4:00pm - 5:00pm        TROUT - Brothers Danny and Zachary Trouton combine contemporary folk and ambient soundscapes in an intimate and atmospheric performance.
5:00pm - 6:00pm        East Belfast Traditional Musicians - Celebrating the rich traditions of Irish music through jigs, reels, hornpipes, airs and tunes from Ireland and beyond.

Interactive Dance Experience

The Spanish Dance performance will include a workshop element, giving audiences the opportunity to learn some basic steps, discover the cultural heritage behind the dances and get involved in the performance.

Music, Dance & Family Fun in Castle Gardens

Enjoy live music and dance long with FREE family activities from 2pm to 4pm in the picturesque surroundings of Castle Gardens. From circus workshops to arts and crafts, sensory activities to bubble performers, there'll be plenty to keep the kids entertained!
