It’s October, so it’s time to wrap up warm, get those wellies on and make the most of the changing seasons.

Trek and Treat this Halloween


Grab the family and head to Ballyburren for something a little different this year as you get ready for the alpaca-lypse!

From 24th-31st October, you can go on a Halloween alpaca adventure through Ballyburren's autumn woodland trails, followed by treats at their coffee trailer and spooky bouncy castle fun.

Family Movie Night

Take your family movie night to the next level with a visit to Let’s Go Hydro’s Drive In Cinema. From 15th-31st October you can park up and enjoy a range of movies to suit everyone from Disney classics like Monster’s Inc and Hocus Pocus or why not introduce them to Halloween favourites like Beetlejuice.

Try out some Halloween recipes

If an indoor activity is more your style, make sure to check out Forestside Cookery School’s Halloween classes on 31st October. Make memories and learn new recipes alongside your little one. Learn how to make mini meringue ghosts, scary shortbread fingers as well as deep apple pancakes. Snacks are served throughout and don’t forget to come dressed up.
