National Show Jumping Championships

About

The National Balmoral Championships will run from Thursday 16th - Sunday 19th July 2026 at Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn.

This prestigious event will encompass show jumping talent from across the country, competing in thrilling qualifying and championship classes.

What to Expect:

Elite Competition – Watch the very best in show jumping, with riders from across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
Thrilling Atmosphere – A host of spectators, a packed schedule, and unforgettable moments in the Eikon Exhibition Centre’s international-grade arena.
Community & Tradition – From young talent to seasoned champions, the Championships are known for their welcoming, high-energy spirit and deep roots in equestrian culture.

With a rich history and a reputation for excellence, the National Balmoral Championships isn't just a competition – it's a celebration of passion, precision, and equestrian pride.

The surface at Balmoral showgrounds is International Grade 1 standard.

Competitors can therefore expect that, regardless of the weather in the weeks prior to the show, necessary provisions will be made to ensure the surface will be the best available.

The main arena offers an incredible opportunity to showcase the very best equestrian talent in the country and organisers therefore plan to provide the best footing for equine competitors.
