Hillsborough Castle & Gardens, Royal Hillsborough, Co Antrim

About

Join our Head Gardener for an uplifting New Year’s Day walk around the spectacular gardens at Hillsborough Castle.

Come and start 2024 with some exercise in the open air. Let our Head Gardener guide you through the many areas of the garden still bursting with life at this time of year.

Explore the winter foliage and the scents and sounds of the garden, while seeing the river rushing through the grounds in its winter flow.

KEY INFORMATION

The walk will begin at the visitor centre and lasts approximately 75 minutes. The walk covers steep, uneven and muddy areas of the gardens so visitors are advised to wear appropriate waterproof footwear and clothing.

Parking is available at the Hillsborough Castle and Gardens car park, just off the A1 southbound carriageway. Car park postcode: BT26 6HR. Please copy this postcode into your Sat Nav to direct you to the Car Park and Admissions.
