Dr James Ryan is a writer and publisher who has been active in Irish genealogy for the past 35 years. He founded Flyleaf Press, which publishes an extensive list of genealogy titles, in 1987. Flyleaf Press is now part of Ancestor Network, a professional research and consulting agency, of which Jim Ryan is a director, and retains the role of managing editor.
