Join us for festive seasonal cheer at Royal Hillsborough Christmas Market.

Experience a truly festive Christmas Market as you stroll through the stalls along The Dark Walk, enjoy a hot drink and bite to eat against the backdrop of Hillsborough Fort.

The market will be filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas with an eclectic mix of food, art and craft.

Experience the magic of Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman™, as Walking With The Snowman™ comes to Hillsborough Castle this festive season. The beloved Snowman™ is brought to life in a trail around the stunning gardens – a perfect Christmas treat for families and fans of all ages.

Wrap up warm, bring your family and friends, and get ready for a heart-warming festive adventure. There are 12 giant Snowman™ sculptures to discover, each beautifully hand painted by a different artist and inspired by the timeless Christmas classic '12 Days of Christmas'. Can you find them all?

Castle Gardens Light Trail

Come and wander through our spectacular light trail in Castle Gardens this Christmas and take in the wonderful sights of the light show.

Visit Santa's Grotto and mini Christmas Market each Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

There will also be Christmas markets and live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Lisburn Light Festival

You’re welcome to come along and enjoy our Lisburn Light Festival and enjoy the illuminating captivating light installations at various locations across the city.

Join us for light shows at the Light Canopy on Bow Street, Enchanting Christmas Tree and the Castle Gardens Light Trail. And don’t forget if you’re in the Castlereagh area to visit our illuminated Arctic Fox in Carryduff and spectacular Reindeer in Dundonald.

Santa will be arriving at 11am at The Ballance House on Saturday 25 November 2023. He'll be waiting to meet you in our cosy fire-lit 19th century Parlour and give you a Christmas gift and craft.

Start your Christmas shopping in our Craft Market so come along and support our range of local crafters.

Tea Barn open for soup and sandwiches, plenty of sweet treats and musical entertainment.

Event entrance: adults £4. Complimentary festive beverage with your entrance. Children free if not seeing Santa

Christmas at Hillmount Garden Centre

22nd November - 24th December

Santa's Grotto is one the highlights of each year at Hillmount when you can bring your children along to explore their Winter Wonderland. Your journey will start off in the grotto with a range of festive scenes and characters. They will be welcomed by our elves, meet Mrs Claus before visiting Santa and receiving a unique Hillmount gift.

We have been working hard with Santa and his elves to ensure everyone is safe whilst visiting our grotto. To help with this they ask that you pre-book your tickets so they can keep numbers at a safe level.
