The much-loved Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market is back this Saturday, 26th July from 10am–4pm, once again transforming The Dark Walk and the grounds of Hillsborough Fort into a bustling hub of local flavour and creativity.

Whether you're coming for the incredible artisan produce, the family-friendly vibe, or just a day out in one of Northern Ireland's most picturesque villages, this is a market you won’t want to miss.

Fresh Flavours & Artisan Food Producers

Foodies will be spoiled with a fantastic line-up of local producers. Indulge in baked goods from Krumb Bakery, The Daily Apron, Tori’s Coffee Bakes & Cakes and Rosie McNeill Cakes. If you like your treats in the form of confectionery, discover exquisite handmade chocolates from Monto Chocolates and moreish fudge from Jack’s Fudge. For something to munch for the Saturday night movie, the irresistible Little Popcorn Shop’s kettle corn is a must try.

Cheese lovers can look forward to sampling from Ballylisk of Armagh, or the range of Irish cheeses selected by Indie Fude.  Or stock up on traditional pork products from Kennedy Bacon, and gourmet charcuterie from The Curly Pigs.

You’ll also find a wide variety of condiments and flavour-packed pantry staples from Burren Balsamics, Shorthorn Kitchen and The Local —perfect for jazzing up your home cooking.  Habanero Steve’s will be bringing the heat with their range of chilli sauces.

And don’t forget your seasonal essential fruit, veg and preserves from Cherryvalley Farm and Peggy’s Family Farm.

Locally Made Drinks

Autumn Harvest returns with their much-loved apple juices, while Moocha Kombucha will offer their gut-friendly kombucha drinks in a variety of flavours. Papas Mineral Company serves up classic cordials and fresh lemonade, the perfect way to stay cool while you browse. Jackson Roze will have their non-alcoholic ginger wines and ginger shots.

Street Food You Won’t Want to Miss

Come hungry—because our street food lineup is a feast in itself! Tuck into loaded burgers and fries from The Hatch, flaky pies and scotch eggs from The Curious Farmer, and mouthwatering crepes made to order by The Crepe Makers.

The Oystercatcher offers a taste of the sea for seafood fans.

Arts, Crafts & Handmade Treasures

This market is more than just food—it's a showcase of creativity. Find unique ceramics from Thomas Powell Pottery, handcrafted jewellery from Fiddle Fig, and beautifully designed prints from Susanna Banks Art.

Ewe to Yarn will have their handspun wool and knitwear, while Freedom Cosmetics and Plumpy Balms return with their vegan and natural skincare ranges. Wildaboutsoaps adds herbal handmade soaps and shampoos to the mix.

For something floral and sustainable, don’t miss Forage and Create and their elegant dried bouquets. And if you're looking for quirky gifts or art pieces, visit Amber Jordan Design (AJD), Becca Calmont for jewellery and HoneyComb Cabin for their beeswax candles.

Seaside Books rounds out the offering with thoughtful reads from authors and publishers from across the island.

Live Music & Family Fun

Soak up the atmosphere with live acoustic performances from talented local musicians throughout the day—providing the perfect soundtrack as you explore the market.

Little visitors are in for a treat too! Keep the kids entertained with a vibrant mix of activities including the Fun with Drums workshop, face painting, and balloon modelling.

Make a Day of It and spend time in Royal Hillsborough Village

After the market, take time to explore Royal Hillsborough Village, packed with independent shops, stylish boutiques, artisan cafés and cosy restaurants. Walk off your market treats around Hillsborough Forest, enjoy the digital trail or kids playground or visit nearby Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.
