About

Join us for this year’s Hillsborough Running Festival, in support of Northern Ireland Hospice, brought to you by RunThrough Events.

EXPERIENCE THE SCENIC CASTLE GROUNDS

The 5k, 10k, and half marathon races are fit for all the family and will start within the beautiful grounds of Hillsborough Castle, before heading out into the surrounding forest and taking in historic attractions such as the iconic fort and picturesque lake.

The half marathon and 10k will then head out on to Ballynahinch Road before re-joining the route to finish in the castle grounds. Each mile is accurately marked out with distance flags and there will be plenty of marshals to keep you on track and encourage you all the way to the finish.

You’ll be rewarded with a well-earned unique themed medal at the finish line, along with free official event photos, chip time results and post-race goodies.
