Listen to Downshire Brass, Arco String Quartet and Dynamic Brass play from our picturesque gardens, set against the royal backdrop of Hillsborough Castle.

Indulge in a drink and sweet treat from our award-winning café as you settle back to listen. Or bring a picnic, kick off your shoes and enjoy with all the family. For a real treat, join us for our popular Sunday lunch, featuring local produce from our gardens.

During the 20-minute interval, take a stroll around the 100 acre gardens in summer bloom, included in your ticket. Or upgrade your ticket and visit the inside of Northern Ireland's only royal residence.

09 July: Downshire Brass

Downshire Brass are one of Northern Ireland's leading championship section brass bands. Formed more than 30 years ago from two of the oldest established brass bands in Ireland. The Band strives to include something for everyone in a repertoire which ranges from traditional brass band marches, through ‘big band’ numbers, to the classics and popular music.

16 July: Arco String Quartet

Arco String Quartet is one of the country’s leading professional and dynamic string quartets. The Quartet’s versatile sound, friendly attitude and artistic excellence continues to push the boundaries of its art, specialising in the arrangement and performance of all music genres, particularly rock and pop. All the players are graduates of major music conservatories in England and Ireland, and have performed all over the world with orchestras including The Ulster Orchestra, The RTE National Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera, Scottish Opera.

23 July: Dynamic Brass

A grade 3 Brass Band conducted by Andrew McGuiggan to bring together people of all ages to establish, develop, educate, maintain and promote the concept of Brass Band Music for the benefit of the local community and beyond.
