This October half term visit Hillsborough Castle & Gardens for a bewitching day out in the great outdoors with Halloween fun for the whole family.

Explore 100 acres of enchanting gardens and let imaginations run wild as you navigate the Halloween maze, get involved in a pumpkin carving workshop and let magical tales and folklore come to life through our storytelling walks. Up for a challenge? Test your skills with our classic autumnal games, from conker duels to apple bobbing, welly-tossing and more.

With something new happening every day, there's always more to explore.

Step into Irish folklore

On 01 and 02 November, be enchanted by renowned Irish folk theatre group, The Armagh Rhymers. Experience performances that blend together myth, music and drama, performed in iconic straw costumes to celebrate Irish folklore for all the family.

Autumn outdoor workshops

Join a family-friendly workshop to satisfy all budding adventurers. With different autumnal workshops happening across Halloween there's plenty of new fun skills to learn and experience.
