A guided walking tour of the unique Georgian village of Royal Hillsborough by Warders of the Hillsborough Fort Guard.

Experience Hillsborough through the eyes of a Hillsborough Fort Guard Warder, whose expert storytelling brings centuries of royal, military, social and local history vividly to life. Our guided walking tour offers exclusive insights, authentic heritage interpretation, and a uniquely immersive connection to the village's past that you won't find anywhere else.

Consistently praised for its accuracy, atmosphere and engaging delivery, this is the definitive way to discover Northern Ireland's only Royal village.

UNDER 18’S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. 

Accessibility:

- The outdoor route follows paved roadways and paths with gentle gradients.
- Suitable walking footwear and outerwear relative to current weather conditions required.
- Toilet facilities available at start and finish of tour.
- Car parking 100m from start point. No onsite coach parking available, nearby parking can be arranged on request.
- In case of inclement weather, arrangements will be made to conduct an verbal tour of the village in a suitable environment.
- Tour duration is approx. 90 minutes.
- Tour departs from the Parish Church Green (behind the War Memorial) on Main Street.
