Join me for a fabulous experience, discovering the history brewed and fermented in the Royal Village of Hillsborough in County Down.

‘Hillsborough Royal Brew’ is a lovely small-group guided 5K walking, wellbeing and heritage experience around lesser-known Royal Hillsborough. Completed by a wonderful beer tasting paired with locally-sourced Tapas tasting in an historic, private bar! We will meet outside the Plough at 10am. Booking is required.

I will guide you on a 5km walk, exploring around the beautiful lake, forest and village, discovering the history brewed and fermented in Royal Hillsborough’s DNA.

Small groups and single walkers of any fitness level are welcome. It is a perfect way to connect and reconnect.

Learn about the fascinating heritage and rich natural landscape on our doorstep with experienced guide Nikki Elliott, a passionate advocate of the benefits of connecting with nature. At Walk it Off NI we want you to leave you richer for the experience of walking together, a good feeling in your heart.

WHERE DO WE GO?

We go on a guided 5km wellbeing and heritage walk around lesser-known Royal Hillsborough village and forest, learning the “Brewstory” of the Village as we explore. Our destination is an 18th Century Coaching Inn which brews the country’s only Royal Beer. Sample four delicious Irish Beers paired with locally-sourced tapas exclusively prepared for your group and take in the view from the outdoor terrace.

Discount

Concession prices for ages 65+ years. All tickets purchased online must be for over 18 year olds and we reserve the right to request ID should our guide believe it to be necessary.

Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age – we will endeavour to provide something else for them to sample along with the tapas. If your party includes under 18 year olds please contact us and we will be happy to make the reservation for you.
