About

The Belfast Regional Branch of An Chomhdhail Irish Dancing Teachers is delighted to be hosting the most prestigious calendar event within the province of Ulster – ‘The Ulster Irish Dancing Championships’ 2022. Sponsored by Lisburn City Council, this years’ event will take place over 7 days (29th October – 4th November) 2022 in the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn.

This is the first time the Eikon Exhibition Centre will ever have been used for such a purpose. Along with music from some of the finest musicians in Ireland, it will provide the platform for thousands of Irish Dancers from Ulster between the approx. ages of 6 – 25, male & female to display their talent in front of judges from across Ireland, UK and USA.

Whilst it is a competitive event it is also an opportunity to showcase the choreography of the talented teachers within Ulster in both solo and figure dancing. All visitors are welcome to come along to enjoy the world class dancing & music and to soak up the atmosphere of this prestigious event in a safe and family friendly venue.
