    Now in its seventh year, the infamous Moira Speciality Food Fair is a firm favourite with visitors and locals alike, so on Saturday 18th September, spend the day meandering from stall to stall in the beautiful surroundings of Moira Demesne, tasting, smelling and hearing the best of our local food, drink and music! The event is a couple of minutes' walk away from the many restaurants, pubs and boutiques of Moira Village, so make a day of it!

    The country's biggest agricultural show is back, from 22nd - 25th September - and you can experience all that makes this event so popular every year! Whether you're there for the animal judging, the machinery exhibitions, the gardening stands, the local food and drink producers, the children's petting farm or all of the above - you can easily spend a day or two exploring this impressive show! Just minutes from Lisburn and Hillsborough, you can add this one to your itinerary!

    On Saturday 25th September, head to Hillsborough village and take a few hours meeting the local food producers and growers at the well-known and much-loved Hillsborough Farmers' Market. Located along the Dark Walk leading to the impressive Hillsborough Fort, there's no better setting for a village market. Your a stone's throw from Hillsborough Forest with it's lakes, trails and state-of-the-art playpark, and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens is across the road, with 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens to explore. Why would you be anywhere else other than Hillsborough on this day!?
